Christopher has been developing large scale Web-based software systems since 1995 as an engineer, software architect, and project manager. He is currently a Vice President/Director of Technology at Publicis Modem, San Francisco, an interactive agency. His career began as a Webmaster and technical lead for Ikonic Interactive (later March First), before helping start several Bay Area dot-com companies. More recently, Christopher developed online ad optimization software for Revcube Media (San Francisco).

Christopher has also written a 500-page book, Webmaster Answers, which sold over 15,000 copies in two languages, and spent two years as the “Ask the Expert” columnist for Web Informant, and Visual J++ Informant Magazines.

Since joining Modem two years ago, Christopher has managed the technology team and led the technical development on a number of projects including HP.com/create which recently won a Webby award in the IT Hardware/Software category, and RAAdvisor.com, which won an Interactive Media BEST IN CLASS award.
